Won’t Let Terror Derail J&K’s Progress: PM Modi Sends Strong Message to Pakistan

-

In a firm and unequivocal statement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared that India will not allow terrorism to hinder the progress and development of Jammu and Kashmir. Addressing a large gathering during his visit to the union territory, PM Modi sent a direct and strong message to Pakistan, asserting that the era of using terror as a tool to destabilize India is over.

We won’t let terrorism derail Jammu and Kashmir’s path to peace and prosperity. The people here have chosen progress, not bullets and bloodshed. Those trying to spread instability through cross-border terrorism will be dealt with firmly,” PM Modi said, drawing loud applause from the audience.

A Vision for a New Jammu & Kashmir

The Prime Minister highlighted how the region, once plagued by violence and political unrest, is now witnessing rapid development under the central government’s vision. He mentioned key milestones achieved since the abrogation of Article 370, including infrastructure growth, improved connectivity, investments in tourism, education reforms, and job creation.

Today, Jammu and Kashmir is writing a new story—of hope, growth, and opportunities. Schools are full, industries are taking root, and tourists are coming back in large numbers. This is the power of peace. And we will protect it at all costs,” he stated.

Caution to Pakistan

Without naming Pakistan explicitly but clearly targeting the neighbor, PM Modi warned external forces against continuing their strategy of proxy war.

Attempts to destabilize our unity through terrorism will never succeed. We have given a free hand to our security forces to respond decisively to any act of aggression or terror. India will not tolerate those who shelter or support terrorism,” he added, emphasizing the government’s zero-tolerance policy.

All-Party Support and Security Review

The Prime Minister’s visit came days after a high-level security review meeting in Delhi, where intelligence agencies alerted the government about increased infiltration attempts along the Line of Control (LoC). PM Modi assured the people of Jammu and Kashmir that the government is closely monitoring the situation and is committed to ensuring their safety and future.

Several political leaders from across party lines expressed solidarity with PM Modi’s stand, underscoring the importance of a unified national response to terrorism.

A Future of Stability and Growth

PM Modi concluded his address with a call to the youth of Jammu and Kashmir, urging them to become partners in the region’s transformation. “Let no one mislead you. Your future is bright, and the nation stands with you. Let us move forward together—toward peace, development, and dignity,” he said.

The Prime Minister’s powerful message is being viewed as both a reassurance to citizens and a stern warning to those attempting to sabotage peace in the region.
